To wonder if I have ADHD

It's crossed my mind before.

I'm almost sure I won't pursue a diagnosis but in a way it would be a relief to "know" and to wonder what I could realistically put in place to try to make life a bit easier.

I've wondered the same but about something else similar can't see me ever checking though

I have two children with adhd and I tick a lot of boxes but don’t have the emotional capacity to fight for a diagnosis at the moment.

I don't think I'd want a diagnosis, but I suppose for my own curiosity if nothing else.

If you think it would be a relief, I say go for it.

DD is now a lot older and I think her diagnosis really helps her at times. She will make light of it and say “oh, that was my ADHD showing it’s self there” she isn’t hyper, well, not often more hyper focused, easily put off track etc

I’ve diagnosed myself with it. After seeing ds go through the process of getting a diagnosis I’ve realised so much about myself.

I think even just realising you have it helps. It stops you feeling like a weirdo.
