Didntwanttochangemyname · 23/04/2019 15:32

Tacky tacky tacky Confused

incogneto · 23/04/2019 15:32

@LoisLittsLover didn't think of that. Still stupid and unnecessary though imo

@Didntwanttochangemyname I know! It's horrible

Most stuff is unnecessary for a baby, new parents are the perfect market for expensive unnecessary stuff and novelty tat.
That is pretty weird but I've seen worse...

SciFiScream · 23/04/2019 15:34

Waste of plastics and all associated resources used in creating the daft thing.

LadyLaSnack · 23/04/2019 15:34

Excellent. More plastic trash for the whales to eat.

incogneto · 23/04/2019 15:35

I'm surprised at the amount of comments on the original Facebook post saying that their DDs/DNs etc need it for when they have Prosecco days Confused

MustardScreams · 23/04/2019 15:35

Eurgh. Why can’t people let babies be babies?

incogneto · 23/04/2019 15:36

One even said their baby needed it for their upcoming 1st birthday party. Christ.

ethelfleda · 23/04/2019 15:37

Beyond tacky

incogneto · 23/04/2019 15:38

£12 for that tat

Chouetted · 23/04/2019 15:46

Most stuff is unnecessary for babies... I suspect it's supposed to be given to the parent as a novelty present.

PodgeBod · 23/04/2019 15:49

£12! I did think it was a bit funny though. I wouldn't buy it but I would laugh if someone else had one at a wedding or birthday.

MooBaaLaLaLa · 23/04/2019 15:52

It's just a silly novelty present, someone bought us a beer bottle one. We never used it as it was a bit tacky and we didn't use bottles anyway but not a big deal.

InsertFunnyUsername · 23/04/2019 15:58

I laughed at the "feel abit more classy" 😂😂😂

I wouldn't use one, but i imagine its a novelty gift.

QueenOfToast · 23/04/2019 16:42

I need one! I can be a bit clumsy with fragile champagne glasses so that looks like the perfect no-spill option for me.

boilersontheblink · 23/04/2019 16:46

90% of the stuff sold for babies is unnecessary! Wink
If mother care only sold essentials it would be a corner shop!
Agree regarding it as tacky.

boilersontheblink · 23/04/2019 16:46

@QueenOfToast and you can wave it around without spillage!Grin

Mrsemcgregor · 23/04/2019 16:48

Would I be able to drink Prosecco laying down with this...? 🤔

PositiveVibez · 23/04/2019 16:50

The irony of saying the baby can look classy 🤣🤣

incogneto · 23/04/2019 16:50

I wouldn't even buy it as a joke novelty gift

OP posts:
PregnantSea · 23/04/2019 17:42

It's just a joke gift item. All of those things are a waste of money. It's especially bad with baby stuff as they know people will get sucked in... New parents and their friends and families are an excellent cash cow for companies that make this sort of stuff.

outpinked · 23/04/2019 17:47

Yeah it’s really weird but some people find this tat amusing...
