Dumplin was really uplifting and sweet. Also recommend To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before as a very enjoyable rom com.

Another vote for Dumpling, that was so much better than I hoped, also try The Unicorn Store for a slightly bizarre yet surprisingly uplifting film.

MonkeyToesOfDoom · 20/04/2019 22:38

I watched a film called 'Paddleton' last night. It's about a man that gets cancer and decides to end his life. He and his friend go on a roadtrip to get the drugs. It's very touching, gentle and often quite funny. Brought a tear to my eye in places.

sparepantsandtoothbrush · 20/04/2019 22:42

Birdbox was shit! So much hype around it but it was absolute crap (imo!)

My 12 year old made me watch Dumplin with her and I actually quite enjoyed it for a romcom.

We've just watched Silence which was ok. And we've been watching Making a Murderer which has just left me 😲

CaravanHero · 20/04/2019 22:43

No Escape - think it’s the only serious role I’ve seen Owen Wilson in and it was absolutely nail biting the whole way.
