I have been doing a bit of online dating (not very successfully so far!) and am becoming increasingly frustrated at the one way conversations I'm having with guys.
For example, I'll ask them what they're doing today or what their job or hobby entails etc and they'll answer but rarely ask a reciprocal question. I'm finding they'll happily engage in talking about themselves but unless I offer up information about myself they just don't ask. They seem to show no interest in my career which is a big part of my identity. They also seem to often be very keen to bring the conversation round to a sexual theme or undertone.
I am finding this disappointing and frustrating. Am I expecting too much? I'd just like to meet a man who has some interest in me as a person
