to ask how I can help re climate change?

I'm trying to do my best re climate change. I work in law enforcement so cannot take part in any protests etc, but am trying to educate the children in my family re what we can do to help. I know, it's not going to make a huge difference but it's about teaching my children and young relatives that climate change is scary and that we need to do our bit. It's definitely an attitude thing.

What are day to day things we can all do to help? For example not buying single use plastic..

Insulate your house heavily, fit triple glazed windows, potentially ground source heat pump if you live in a suitable building.

Walk and cycle as much as possible.

Fly very little.

Eat less (or no) animal products, especially beef and pork. Animals produce a lot of methane which is worse than carbon.
