I live in a flat in a multi storey building which is a house association.
Yesterday I received a phone call from them,a woman very abruptly said
"There's a plumber coming out on the 15th may"
I asked why and she said downstairs can hear a dripping.
So I explained there was nothing in here dripping and I couldn't hear anything.
She then again rudely said
Well we need to get in.
Is there any need to be so rude?
Just because it's a housing association they think they can talk to you like rubbish.
She didn't ask if it was convenient or anything.

I live in a housing association home and no one has ever spoke to me like that. She's probably just very rude.

I understand your annoyance though!

make a complaint about her to her superiors. Tell them she needs some customer service training.

I've organised repairs for a family member who lives in HA property and I've never been spoken to rudely by staff at the HA.

Maybe she was just to the point and not as friendly as she could have been (still not nice) rather than actually rude?

Please don't take it to heart. I'm sure it has nothing to do with being in HA property. Try not to develop a chip on your shoulder about this and see things that aren't there. People who live in HA properties are no worse or better than homeowners.
