to think my parcel is lost?

Sent a parcel of clothes from uk to USA on 17th March. Used first class tracked. It hasn't arrived to my friend yet and I've lost the receipt (haven't lost it - split up with abusive ex and he's kicked me and my baby son out of the house and changed the locks - awful) but anyway.... is it normal for a package to take this long? I'm so stressed about it. It cost me £50 and was a gift for my best friend who just had a baby.

Could it still turn up?

It’s possible yes, it took a month for a parcel I sent to get to Paris from London recently so usa can take a lot longer unfortunately.

Can you go back to the house with someone to collect your things including receipt? Sorry that happened to you.

@AnnieMay100 he's changed the locks and broken/thrown away all my things. It'll be gone. Hopefully the parcel will turn up.

Its probably just loitering in customs. Its a pain

Don't know what type of postage you paid for, but a package can take between a week and 6 weeks to get from UK to USA and vice versa, depending on what shipping method you chose.

If it was a big parcel full of clothes, I am assuming it went by ship, as airmail would have cost a fortune for something that heavy/big...

Hopefully, it will probably get there soon.
