AIBU to not wait any longer

Real estate agent arranged to come and complete their annual property inspection today but they are now over 2 and a half hours late for the agreed upon inspection time. I'm heading off overseas in just over a day and was planning on using this afternoon to run a few last minute errands and made sure I woke up very early this morning so I could finish working from home after lunch.

Would I BU to just stop waiting for the agent? I don't want any issues if they do end up finally arriving later this afternoon.

Call them to tell them that if they don't arrive within 30 minutes they need to reschedule as you cannot delay your plans any longer. I hate when people think their time is more important than yours.

If you are imminently heading OS you have more important things to do than waiting way past the scheduled time for the agent. How rude of them.
Have they called you? Have you called them?

2 1/2 hours is long enough that I'd assume they weren't coming. Very rude of them not to call.

Just go about your day and if someone calls round when you aren't there then tough shit. They would have no reason to expect you to still be waiting for them after this long.

When you get back from your trip I would book in with a different agency as this one are clearly a waste of your time, don't give them your business.

Just go out. They have missed their appointment with you. If it makes you feel better, send a final message to them advising they have missed their appointment and you are leaving. Then it’s timed and puts the blame on them.

You're the tenant? Send them a quick email saying they've missed their appointment, you've waited all morning, and that you don't consent to them entering the property without you present (if that's how you feel). Otherwise, they'll probably just rock up later and let themselves in.
