AIBU to feel like I am a complete failure!!!

My children are so badly behaved DD 6 DS 4 no matter where we go always arguing shouting wanting hitting!! It’s never ending!!! Feel like such a crap mum and feel like giving up!!!!! No matter what I try with them nothing works!

Hi OP-I am sure that you are not a crap mum! If you were you wouldn't be worrying/posting about your DC. Some siblings fight like cat and dog, it just depends on personality. It doesn't mean that their parents are failures. I am sure that wiser people will have some strategies to suggest to improve things, but I didn't want to read and run.

Please don't feel bad, as another poster said, some siblings do fight like cat and dog. If it makes you feel any better, my two were bickering all the way around Primark yesterday and at nearly 15 and 19 they are way too old for that! Luckily they are of an age where I can walk off and pretend I don't know who they are if they start carrying on. I went and hid out in the homewares section until they took the hint.

I felt like this last night so I sent all three of mine to bed early and told them we are staying at home today. Not having another stressful day and children arguing and making me feel like the worse parent ever. Hopefully a new day will be a better one for us both.

I feel your pain OP my two eldest 7&5 are very much like this!
We've tried everything and nothing seems to work and going out for the day is just horrendous.

That’s the same with us to it stops us from wanting to do anything at weekends because we know they’ll just play up ☹️ My mum says it’s a phase they’ll grow out of. I hope so.
