That no one believes me About my coil strings?!

Had the copper coil fitted in October, all been fine. Apparently the strings were tucked up around my cervix.

Past 2/3 months Iv felt them really low. Especially since the last period. Like literally hanging out low! Dp says he’s felt them a few times but thinks Iv been dramatic. Iv been to the family clinic at the doctors twice and both times have said they are tucked up, they wouldn’t untuck and it’s unlikely Iv felt them. When I walk I can feel them sharp digging in!

Tonight have had enough and had a look. (I don’t look down there after a traumatic birth then repair surgery. It’s not a pretty sight!). It’s hanging out! Green fishing wire!!

I’m going to ring again tomorrow. Iv taken a pic 🤢🤢🤢 but I’m refusing to leave until it’s sorted. I’m so worried, what if it’s been moved or something?! 😩😩😩

Oops. Pressed too fast. The coil had sliced through him!

This happened to me and I had to have it removed, your body, like mine my be rejecting the copper

I can't stop read these stories even though they make me cross my legs and feel petrified .

sheldon I had a similar experience. In addition I told the dr that the coil was causing me pain during sex and was just told that wasnt possible . Well the pain went immediately when another dr removed it for me.

Well after 150 calls I managed to get through this morning.

The woman was useless and she’s ringing me back. I told her my strings are too long and she said “oh you want to know if you can cut them yourself?!”

Ermm nope.

I could feel mine and it must of moved because I removed it myself didn’t hurt or anything
My doctor didn’t believe me. - until I placed it on his desk 😂

I know of two people this has happened to.
My sister and I both rejected them.
Mine came out after I tugged the strings that were hanging out of me.
My sisters was found to be heading towards the exit when she went in to have the strings cut as they were hanging out of her.
I had a hysterectomy shortly after and my sister had a hysterectomy about 2 years later.
We do like to do things together but that's ridiculous.
I hope you get it sorted out soon op.

Soooo she’s trimmed it. It was 5inchs too long!!

Buttttt after she cut it she said “don’t blame me if you can’t get it out as I cut them short” like what the fucckkkkkk

It feels so much better now!! Like the heavy feeling has gone 😂

Wow!! 5 inches too long, did they even bother to trim them at all? No wonder they were poking out.

My strings got lost with my first coil, but it wasn't a big deal, just had it taken out under anaesthetic

Well I can feel the strings I think! So all good 😂

Well. All these posts have made my eyes water. I'm glad I've opted to be sterilised!

Yes I also could feel mine, was like a needle going into you !
