To be fed up with apostrophes on plurals?

What does this say about our education system? Plurals are something I learned in primary school! It's not difficult.

Just today I've seen "mum's", "party's" and "book's".

FFS. Now everyone communicates so much more via the written word, it's even more important to get these things right.

YANBU. It drives me mad. I think some teachers don't even understand the rules. One of DD's primary teachers consistently corrected her its and it's and added apostrophes for plurals.

It's a mis'take I sometime's make. I us'ually notice it before I pos't though.
