Evening all, not really an Aibu but would really love some help!!
I'm 2 stone + a few pounds over my comfy weight, I was thinking of joining slimming world but I'm not sure if I can afford it at the moment, I was wondering if anyone could tell me some meal ideas and what's good to eat and what's not ie what should I fill up on etc I'm vegetarian and can't eat quorn, xx

If you're looking to do slimming world, it's really easy to follow without paying. You can get the gist of it online and there are fb groups that list the syns for it.
As for being veggie, I am too but I do eat quorn. Can you eat any meat replacement type products or do you prefer not to?i know some people are just sensitive to quorn and others prefer not to mess with anything like that

If it’s any help I have just downloaded my fitness pal app and it seems great! Maybe worth a try? You put in current weight, height etc and your weight goal. It calculates recommended daily calories and then you add in your meals breakfast, lunch, dinner and exercise and it will work out the threshold/aim per day. Maybe going into too much detail here if you already know about it but I’m impressed and hoping it will motivate me to be aware of what I’m eating each day

Do you have to add in the calories you have or does it add it up for you? I'm new to all this xxx

You scan barcodes or add in say your breakfast - 1 slice of bacon and 2 slices of toast it will calculate what the calories are. So handy!
