I was breastfeeding the baby and in one moment
She was choking . I just took her in the position
To try and burp her , and placing my hand in her back. But i realise that she was like frozen . Her head was in left side she could not
Move her head . And her right eye was going up like cross eyes ... the eye was going like that for 1 minute and then going normal . Than again happening that thing ... her eye going up and half closing . I called the ambulance . At night we were with doctor at North midlesix . Baby looks happy , her had is fine now , even her eye is fine .
They say that we dont know why this happened because every Baby is different

Baby looks happy .. we kept her tonight in hospital just to make sure .

Doctor wont say me anything way did this happened !
Why she had the eye like crossed and going up
Her eye was like she was going blind ... she was like frozen ... staying in the left side and could not move her head to the right side ... im really worry ... please tell me if you seen this thing , or have hear about it ..is that dangerous ?! Im sending her to gp to get a referral and send her to pedriatic Neurologist .... but im worry an i just need some conversation with somebody that have hear about this .

You are asking in exactly the wrong place. Stop looking at the internet and listen to your doctors

yomommasmomma · 14/04/2019 12:23

I am so sorry to hear that this happened. I am not sure what happened but wanted to send me sympathy. My son has a febrile seizure when he was just 3 and it was awful, his eyes rolled back and he shock. Febrile seizures are horrible and scary but harmless and no longer term effects. Maybe this is what your baby had. They are caused by a sudden temperature spike.

Ester1992 · 14/04/2019 12:26

@Confusedbeetle The doctor send me back home .. he just checked her temperature and the signs of life .... i am going through the gp to make an appointment with neurologist ... im not looking for a solution here ..: just want to
Know if anybody has experienced this situation .. i feel like 10 years of life has gonne with that moment ... it was just chocking moment . I am still shocked
Seeing my baby in that situation was terrible ...

Srangers on the internet are not going to be able to help you here. If she is still doing it you need to take her back to hospital.

LetsDoThisAgain · 14/04/2019 12:43

You need actual medical advice not Dr Google or Dr MN.

yomommasmomma · 14/04/2019 12:44

It doesn't sounds like a febrile seizure then. It's hard to know. I would suggest following up with the gp and defo call an ambulance again if it happens again.

Toddlerteaplease · 14/04/2019 12:45

Yes. If you are concerned you need to go back to hospital. It is very unlikely that the GP will refer you to a neurologist after only one episode. If the hospital were concerned. They would have referred or done more investigation at the time. I know it's scary. But it's unlikely they will refer unless it happens again. It will also take months to be seen if you are referred. If it's not considered urgent.

Mouikey · 14/04/2019 12:47

You did the right thing to get help and absolutely got to the gp tomorrow. If it happens again and it is safe to do so, video it, we did this with our little one. It looked as though she had infant seizures, showed the gp who got straight on the phone to the consultant. We had an appointment very quickly, but I was able to send the video in advance and he checked and gave us peace of mind that it wasn’t anything serious and could contact him if things got worse, 2 and a bit years later every thing is fine.

Beyond doing what you’re doing there isn’t a lot more anyone can say until you visit your gp. If it happens again before then go straight to a&e.

Either I've got really bad de ja vu or I read this exact post earlier in the week?

bruffin · 14/04/2019 12:52

If it happens again , video it to show to doctor.

Seizures are like shaking
not really

There are numerous types of seizures, with my dc, who had numerous febrile seizures (gefs+) , the seizure starts by going rigid and then a rhythmic jerking (tonic clonic seizure)

But as i said different types of epilepsy has different type of seizures.

ew1990 · 14/04/2019 13:01

Oh and OP my sister has seizures where she stares for a while then vomits then will sleep for hours. Not epilepsy related
