I bought a dyson handheld last April from amazon. Its our only hoover. Its just occurred to me that my DH has NEVER used it.

I just think it says it all.

Well, I used our Henry Hoover for the first time in 6 years this week.

So what are you going to do about it?

He will tell you it's because he sweeps up with a brush.

Does he do anything else?

I've never used our hoover either. But my wife has never touched a bin bag, picked up a car sponge or laid hands on any form of garden tool. We get on just fine.

Personally, unless this is a drip-feed, slowly goading people in a "the boy does nothing" man-hating way then, when it comes to dishing out household chores, I'd take hoovering any day.

I've never used the lawn mower. Dh has never mopped. We're fine with that.

Be careful what you wish for. OH had never used the hand held hoover until 2 weeks ago. Now it is never bloody put back where it’s supposed to be (by the charger). I found it in the shed today.
