AIBU to be shocked that there doesn’t appear to be any consequences for Addenbrookes management’s poor judgement?

I always think this about 24 hours in a&e with the unconscious people. Fair enough the people in the tv programme have consented afterwards but I guess there's a lot of people who don't give their consent who aren't very happy that they've been filmed.

God almighty, I've always held the Rosie in high regard. I guess the TV crew are arguing because they want to do it in the future. I'm nearing the end of my second pregnancy, and this is going to leave me quite nervous and on guard every time I enter the hospital now. I find all the medical real life programmes problematic and such an invasion of privacy that I struggle to see how they are legal even if they are deleted without being viewed by a human.

That’s terrible. I can’t believe that the staff agreed to that. I’m a midwife sonographer and would absolutely refuse to work with a television camera in the room, it’s an unforgivable breach of privacy at what is one of the most vulnerable and possibly the most devastating moment of that woman’s life. They should be ashamed of themselves.

To be honest I’m more appalled that the hospital trust allowed it. The media I expect to do immoral things, the hospital to violate privacy like that I don’t expect. The CQC ought to rip the apart for that to set an example.
