To be put off when men use excess emojis in texts?

Trying the online dating thing and really like one guys sense of humour... only issue is he’s a big emoji fan! Sometimes uses none when we are chatting over text but longer texts always have a sprinkling of 😂😂 or 👍 or 😝 - Aibu to be put off? He’s mid 30s so not a young teenager!

I use them as I think with a deadpan sense of humour they are needed. Things can easily be misconstrued by text

In fact, it would probably be a deal breaker for me, if he didn't use emojis 😝😝😝😂😂😂

I use emojis in almost message. In fact some are made up of only emojis 🤗🤗🙃

Emojis and use of the word "lol" every other bloody sentence, gaaargh! I blocked men on OLD for this exact reason
