to not bother with sleepovers anymore?

DS used to sleepover/have sleepovers with his friend but now he is 14 and really not bothered. Also occasionally have sleepovers/sleepover with my friends.

But I am just not up for it anymore. I'm 47 and I'm done with sleepovers.

I hate sleeping in any other bed, not having my own bathroom to get ready in, having to organise the cats, not having my own space at the end/beginning of the day etc.

I have a small flat, no extra room or bed. I just don't want people sleeping on my sofa, or having to give my or DS' bed up, all the sorting of extra bedding, not having my own space at the end/beginning of the day etc.

So I'm just going to announce to friends/family, that I don't do sleepovers anymore if it ever comes up. The only exception would be my sister who lives abroad.

Anyone else find it a hassle or am I just being a grumpy old bat. And wibu if situation arose where it would be convenient for a friend to stay over but I just told them, no.
