Completely unaffliated but what a life saver! Came down with awful water infection en-route to the airport to get on a 15 hour flight. Was able to see a doctor via teleconference and get prescription for antibiotics while in the airport (also credit to amazing service at Boots)! Literally cried with happiness. They kicked in quickly too!

Have also used a similar service overseas for stomach bug, when I couldn’t get out to see the doctor.

Far less expensive than seeing a private GP and no battling for an appointment to see an NHS GP. They obviously can’t examine you but they do a bloody good job. Far more thorough than my usual doctor!

Are they able to refer to an nhs service if the problem merits it?

youaremyrain · 03/04/2019 12:29

How much was it? Did you have to play for the consultation and then a private prescription?

youaremyrain · 03/04/2019 12:29

*play

Not sure if they can refer I’m afraid. I’ll see if I can find out. Paid about £30 and then £8 for prescription.

Their CQC reports are sobering reading despite some improvements.
