(Lighthearted)

The one day of the year where it is universally existed that mothers should get a lie in, and breakfast in bed - and they go and put the clocks back so your lie in is an hour less!

I'm lying in bed thinking it's after 9, I really should get up, wondering why it doesn't feel like I've been in bed for too long. (I'm rarely in bed past 8) - and I've just twigged that in body clock terms it's the back of 8.

Grrrrr! You don't get this on fathers day...

(and before anyone feels the need to tell me, I know the date for mothering Sunday changes every year, and it doesn't happen all the time)

May 12th is the date for mother’s day in lots of countries
We also celebrate Mothering Sunday in the UK, which is today
I tell my children that I celebrate both
