When we moved we registered at the local surgery. We got an appointment 2 weeks later for our new patiens checks with the nurse. She advised me to make an appointment with the doctor to get my depo injection, and one for DS2 to get his ears checked. his is tomorrow, mine next Thursday. Anyway, today I had to go and get my smear, and asked the nurse if it was possible to get a prescription because I ahd run out of the tablets I have for my fibromyalgia. I thought I'd a packet of each spare, but haven't. She said she couldn't do it. So I asked at reception, and was told, because I'm a new patient I need to see the doctor before getting a prescription. So I asked if I could get one at tomorrows appointment with DS2.
No I was told, you need your own appointment., and I notice you have one next Thursday, you can get it then!
Then she said I could phone at 8am tomorrw as they release a few appointments, and I could get one then but they wouldn't be able to amke it the same time as Ds2's.
I am just annoyed, as will not be albe to sleep now and the pain is kicking in already!
