We are going to be redoing our utility room (exciting, I know) and wondered if you could inspire me?

Futility room is literally my favourite room in the house!

Ok epic diagram fail.
Basically mine is an excellent design in a small space. Windowless room.

To the left as you go in you have washing machine & sink, cupboards above.

Directly ahead heated towel rail.

To the right, ie behind the door is where I hide all manner of shit that is entering or leaving the house, parcels, charity shop bags, tools etc etc
There is a tumble dryer with cupboards above and a full height cupboard for ironing board etc.

I've got my washer and dryer stacked, a 1.5 sink and lots of cupboards with an entrance to the garden for mucky times of year.its full of shoes and boots

Echoing the others that has got to be my favourite diagram ever.

Mine is rectangular - door to garage at one end, door to kitchen at the other. Window tih sinnk under and on one side of sink drier and left of sink washer, contains cupboard with door that has the boiler in it. Opposite side of window has high cupboards along the wall at head height and below that goes airers for clothes on below the cupboards at one end our second fridge freezer.

I can't possibly follow that, but mine is long & narrow with a door to the garden at the far end. On the left we have a fridge freezer, then a counter with a sink. The washing machine & tumble drier are under the counter plus a set of drawers & an under sink cupboard. The wall mounted boiler is at the end. Opposite, on the right, we have a walk in storage cupboard & the downstairs loo. I would've liked it wider and not so much of a corridor.
