A 28” tv with a built in DVD player?
Every other size of tv is available with one, but not 28”!
Why!?

The days of miniaturization have gone and the trend now is for bigger and bigger TV sets.
As suppliers see a massive growth in the sale of big TVs, they decide that is the audience they wish to cater to. They cater for the majority not the minority as they don't want to hold stock that doesn't sell because this costs them money. I'm not saying I agree with them but this is the way it is.

I recently took a family member out to look at Freesat TVs and he only had a choice of 2 in a 32" screen size. Most were 40" and above.

Spirit I can buy smaller ones with a DVD player, 20” & 24” all seem to have them plus 32” & above - just not 28” right in the middle?!

To be honest every TV/DVD combo I've had the DVD part has packed in anyway so I'd go separate every time.

MadSweeny I've had two TV/DVD combis over the last eight years and both are still going. Panasonic and Samsung models (I think). My brother in law has one in his study too and that's been going for eight years or so with no problem.
