To ask for help for my Dad's birthday?

Dad's birthday is coming up soon and Mum suggested aftershave as a present. He loves this Joop one (pictured), but I'm unsure over whether to get the same one or something similar.

Thoughts please Smile

Probably the same one if he knows what he likes, especially if it isn’t cheap one

How old is your dad? Have you had any other thoughts about a present?

He'll be 50. He's a nightmare to buy for. I usually go with a t-shirt or two and a bottle of wine/Baileys.

My daughter made a memory jar for me a couple of years ago filling it with pieces of paper with happy memories written on them as well as saying nice things like what a great dad I am etc. I loved it. Was really special. I did the same for my mum for her 80th but got lots of family and friends to write memories to go in the jar for her.

Didn't cost anything either!

This was a photo taken before it got filled to the top!

Anyway, just an idea
