Facebook - how to keep my profile and pictures private?

Can anyone tell me how? I've spent an hour going through settings and can't find anything?

When you look at your albums you should be able to change who can view them. Not sure about your profile though.

You can no longer have a private profile picture. All profile pictures are public.
