I splashed out £50 last week on someone to tidy up our garden, after I stood in next door's and looked at the view they had of ours.

£50 for 18 months gardening doesn't seem so bad.

I need to do the same. Spent three days last year cutting back brambles, throwing snails over the fence, digging over, dousing the lot in weedkiller and then putting down membrane and bark chippings. Then stupid foxes from next door (three disused sheds, broken cookers, Life of grime-style place) treated chippings as World`s Biggest Litter Tray and I lost heart.

Weeds are all back and Im 39 weeks, so b*ggered if Im going to start again. Hoping to just pay someone to clear-cut and then plant some cover. Given up on using it. Gaaah.
