DDs school delayed their world book day until today for some reason. DD (8) has been SO excited for it, planning to be Hermione because DD adores the character.
Yesterday she developed a cough (Just thought it was her asthma) and then in the middle of the night her temp went to 38.9 and she was a bit loopy with it.
Cue this morning. Temp now 37.9-38.0 with calpol and still coughing. I’m keeping her off today and she is devastated as she says it’s her favourite day of the year.
I know I’m NBU to keep her off but AIBU to detest the parent guilt sometimes!
