Wakefield - Sandal or Wrenthorpe?

Hi,

Need advice on housing in Sandal vs. Wrenthorpe. Our kids goes to school in Wakefield city center.

We have been looking at houses in Wakefield for some time. We like Sandal and Wrenthorpe as both areas have nice houses. Wrenthorpe works for us as it has much easier access to motorways but Sandal has more of the kind of house that we are looking for.

Any advice as to which area is better to live in - sandal or Wrenthorpe?

Sandal ...wrenthorpe is getting very over developed and very busy...its loosing its charm fast!

I would choose Wrenthorpe over Sandal.

Mainly as I think it a better area of Wakefield. I live in Horbury though which is nicer than everywhere else!

I would go with Sandal, peaceful, quiet and close to Newmillerdam.

Have you looked at Walton?
We've found the reasonably size houses up in wrenthorpe at the moment are all in poor locations (busy road etc)
