We want to go camping in Ireland in August. I am teaching in the autumn, dh will be writing a dissertation and we are hopefully moving back to Australia this time next year so it's kind of our last chance. I am bfing exclusively so bottles aren't an issue and ds is a brilliant sleeper (provided I cuddle him off) - or am I just frelling kidding myself???

I've done this with little babies. It's a doddle especially as you are BFing. They're still very portable and all they need is sleep and breast milk. Perfect! I loved camping with little babies.

thanks spider! I was inspired last year (way before even ttc) when we saw a 4WD pull up at the campsite - the dad set about the tent, the mum went for a walk with dog, toddler on little pushbike, and babe on hip!
