Sequins not at Xmas??

I just bought a multicoloured sequin dress for a hen do next week. Thought it's pretty funky. My friend says I look like a disco ball and sequins are only for Xmas. Aibu to wear it?? Are sequins only for xmas? I wasn't aware of this rule

I think sequins are for parties and also for very sunny days! If you love it then of course you should wear it.

Oh ok I'll definitely wear it then!It's a quiz dress. all multicoloured sequins. Almost people are wearing a nice top and jeans but I thought I'll go with sequins and big earrings😁😁 It is a hen do with cocktails!

Great frock! Are you sure your friend is commenting on the sequins, or is she saying it doesn’t suit you? It’s a rude comment either way, I’m really trying hard to find something helpful in it!

I wish I could wear it, but it has 10 things going on with it that wouldn’t suit me (as in flatter me). But that’s me. If you feel good in it, that’s what counts!
