I can’t decided if this is cheeky/rude or not?!
I’ve seen that someone who I know (more acquaintance than friend) has added an Amazon “wish list” onto their Instagram and Facebook account. They often refer to it via “stories” or status updates that should anybody wish to purchase something on the list for her feel free to click the link.
To clarify, these are random items such as video games or stuffed animals/action figures from programmes they are into. They are in their mid 20s.
My first reaction was that I could never be so cheeky to create a list and offer it to other people to pay...how rude!!! But then I thought well it is the CHOICE of whomever is paying whether they want to purchase something for them or not so is it actually unreasonable?!
Strange one but each time I see a little status update I can’t help but be a bit taken aback at the confidence of asking people to buy you random gifts!
Each to their own I guess but I’m curious as to whether others feel this is really cheeky or not at all?! As mentioned, I’m undecided!
(Disclaimer: I know it doesn’t effect me and I don’t have to purchase something... this is just a curiosity post!)
