AIBU to not like my parents?

I’m on holiday at the moment with them the other side of the world, without DH. To be fair, my parents have paid for all my travel and we are staying in a house together.

But my goodness, they are annoying! Especially my mother! They are fine in short doses like an overnight weekend stay but I’m counting down the days until I go home which seems a shame.

Any tips on how to cope?!

You need to give a bit more detail - in what way are they annoying?

My mum talks constantly. About the most random crap. I’m not drinking at the moment and she’s always on at me to drink champagne with her. She’s that kind of person.

If she's like my mum, she's just thrilled to have someone to talk to as dad is not a 'chatter'! And someone trying to make me drink champagne - not really a problem for me Grin to be fair. If that's your only issue I think YABU. They've paid for you to spend some time with you I assume and you must've been aware of this.

Couldn't you arrange a few days out for yourself to get a break?

I’m pregnant (very early stages) so not drinking and maybe I’m just being a bit moody. Grin
