YANBU

Me and DH took this week off work as our 'summer holiday' - what a fantastic week to choose eh? Run out of ideas today as to where we can go with DS that is inside so we are going to Sainsburys - sure DS will be thrilled!

Thank you!

Sainsburys eh? Ooh, well, we've done Waitrose and Tesco in the last week, maybe Sainsburys can be next on the list!

DS just loves shopping

Poor boy, I can see he just wants to go out..

BLOODY WEATHER!!

I was just glad this week that one of my dc had a dentist appointment, and the other had a hospital appointment.

It was the only outing we got all day. Yesterday we battled the wind and rain and went to Tesco. My dc are on their first week of 9 weeks holiday, and are already realising it's not as much fun as looking forward to it.

Firstly, I dont have wellies for either me or DS, nor do either of us own waterproof coats..

And puddle jumping might have been okay if it wasn't literally pouring with rain..

I'm sorry - it's actually all my fault.
I spent April getting OBSESSED about the lack of rain we had - convinced myself that the end of the world was nigh, my great grandchildren would be living in a desert or would have developed gills. And now look what I've done - the motto of the story is "be careful what you wish for"

Electroma · 06/07/2007 09:40

mildmanneredjanitor - I would if it wasnt raining..

Hassled - So its you thats to blame eh? Right - you're for it!

I've given up my TITP ticket for this weekend.

I'm just NOT going to do it! I'm not the happiest camper at the best of times, but in this weather there is no way i'm going in a tent!

Although, I have since heard that it might be getting cancelled..
