to not know what to do

I've been off nearly five months. The cause of me going off was the extremely heavy workload meaning I was up in the early hours of the morning working. I'm wondering if it might be best for me to resign rather than return. At the same time I'm thinking I should give it another go at my current job. Has anyone else been in a similar position?

Would you not have a managed return, occupational health input and possibly a union intervention?

Have you had on going discussions with line management about managing your work load?

Are you a teacher, OP?

No I'm not a teacher. Yes I have they have been very dismissive. Yes I could have a phrased return.

I'd take the phased retuern and get my CV together and start job hunting .if you really think they wont adjust your work load, its always easier to geta job when you already have one. I do feel for you.

I was thinking of doing that however I've been told that work legally can't disclose my sick days so it's possible to get another job while on sick leave. I'm going to speak to my line manager on Tuesday.
