AIBU to get my rings resized?

Posting for traffic really.
I am 7 months post partum with my second baby. Everything has sort of got back to where we started body wise except for the obligatory c section pouch and my stupid fat ring finger!
It’s so weird. The rest of my fingers seem the same size I can wear the rings I used to on other fingers but not my engagement and wedding band! This didn’t happen with my first but I did swell like violet from Charlie and the chocolate factory with this pregnancy so I initially put it down to that.
I am combi feeding so could that be it? I’m maybe 4lbs away from pre pregnancy weight but I don’t think I’m carrying it on my finger.
Has anyone else had this and found it magically disappear overnight?
Shall I wait until I’ve lost a bit more weight before admitting defeat?
Or AIBU to just accept my finger has changed size forever and go and get them resized so I can wear them again?

Give it a year to be sure :) With my first I was down to within a kilo of my pre birth weight within four months and my rings just would not fit! After a year, wierdly, they went down and rings went on fine! Making rings bigger is a lot easier than making them smaller..

My youngest is 2.5 now and I've finally admitted defeat and asked my brother to resize my rings :) Best of luck to you!

Hi op, it was my knuckles that I couldn't get my rings over, so I had mine resized about six months pp! You could always give it a little longer, maybe reach goal weight and then see, not sure if it will make much difference or not.
So strange the changes pregnancy brings!
