Looks so tempting
I don't buy lottery tickets ever.

I played the post code lottery for 3 years never won a penny, i cancelled it, don't know anyone who has won it

DanielRicciardosSmile · 20/02/2019 18:48

Yes, someone I know won around £3000 on it a few years ago. I don't play it myself though.

ggirl · 20/02/2019 18:50

I would be annoyed if I didn't win in the first 6 months ..I have high expectations ...probably not for me then Grin

I've never played, but a street in my town won and all the players got about £3k each

Anyat212 · 20/02/2019 18:54

My mums next door neighbour won some money I can’t remember how much as it was around 5 years ago, but she had a lot of work done to her house. I’ve played for around a year and nothing - typical!

Coldilox · 20/02/2019 18:54

I have won £10. I know someone who has won £1000 and someone who has won around £30,000

Mamabearx4 · 20/02/2019 18:55

Been playing for 3 years won £40 in that time. 2 streets over won £1000 a few weeks back...

HappyBee18 · 20/02/2019 18:56

My boyfriend so £15,000 a few year ago. It landed on my sisters postcode (lives an hour away) last year but she had stopped playing a few months before!

elloelloello · 20/02/2019 18:59

Yes, a friend won £28k about 2 years ago.

Loads of people on his street won varying amounts from £3k - £90k

Whisky2014 · 20/02/2019 19:01

Ive won £10 a few times but that just covers the mo thly direct debit to play!

How are the prizes split so widely on a street?!

Spanglybangles · 20/02/2019 19:01

Never done it and never will now as the town I live in won the jackpot a couple years ago. There were about 180 odd winners in town winning between £9000 and £365k each. So can’t see the big win coming here again.

FormerlyFrikadela01 · 20/02/2019 19:01

My mil won £6k last year.

foxyknoxy30 · 20/02/2019 19:04

I know someone who one £800 k

Theseptemberissues · 20/02/2019 19:04

Grandparents won £1000 a few weeks ago. They’ve also won £10 a few times over the past few years

BifsWif · 20/02/2019 19:05

Someone I know won £135,000 at the end of last year.

SamBaileys · 20/02/2019 19:08

I worked with a girl who won £30,000, must be about 10 years ago.
We play but have only won 3 x £10 in 3 years.

Chickenwing · 20/02/2019 19:11

I play and have won £10 about 3 times. I've heard wealthy streets tend to win as more players.

Ariela · 20/02/2019 19:13

This is free, not such massive prizes but doesn't cost anything

Decormad38 · 20/02/2019 19:17

I may try it. Not quite sure though?

Huntawaymama · 20/02/2019 19:19

We had it for a couple of years and won £10 twice, I felt like it was a way to keep us hanging on. I cancelled it

mrcharlie · 20/02/2019 19:19

Joined and quit 2yrs later - not a penny
Been in the lotto syndicate (Camelot) at my old work place, not won a sausage in 14yrs!

I guess I'm just unlucky :(

ggirl · 20/02/2019 22:01

I thought if your postcode won , you all won the same amount ?

OP posts:
DanielRicciardosSmile · 20/02/2019 22:08

@Ariela I used to do that one but got fed up checking it every day!

sparepantsandtoothbrush · 20/02/2019 23:04

I've been doing it 6 months and won £10 every month so far except one.

Not everyone will win the same with a jackpot on one street as some people will have more than 1 subscription

FlamingoFlamenco · 20/02/2019 23:08

I'd like to know how the postcodes are selected as I never could find this out!
