To ask for advice on buying e-tickets

Posting for traffic sorry.
I'm looking to buy an ticket to a show and the seller claims the tickets are e-tickets and can therefore be sent over email. The seller has said she'd meet with me to exchange but due to the distance I'd rather have them sent through email.
Has anyone got any experience in buying e-tickets to avoid getting scammed as she does seem genuine?

I am assuming they are second hand tickets.

If they are e-tickets can they even be resold? A lot of people now have stipulations such as the person who bought the tickets needs to be present along with the card used to pay.

I would be very vary buying these.

A lot of tickets require ID in the name of the ticket purchaser to gain entry.

I'd be wary

Thank you I hadn't thought of that.

I purchased e-tickets that a crettin ticket tout purchased in their name for James Arthur and for X Factor Tour, as the show was sold out within minutes when I tried to purchase myself.
They were just sent direct to me via email once payment had been made and no security ever checked my id on the door. They just scan the tickets for authenticity and check your bags and you're on your way.
I'd say it'd be fine as long as it's purchased through a reputable website and perhaps use a credit card for insurance purposes.

It can depend who it is, some artists are much stricter on this than others, Ed Sheeran concerts are very strict. Iirc the Rolling Stones were strict also.

I've decided against it, thank you all for your responses.

They can be printed off multiple times and only the first people using them gets into the venue - I never buy tickets from a third party seller. Seen too many people get duped.
