Does anyone else hate their jobs?

I hate it, yet I feel trapped due to a long notice period, and a boss who doesn't let me take time off without substantial of notice. It's impossible to go to interviews. Salary is crap too.

Call in sick when you do interviews, if it has to come to it then not much else you can do. Or go after work / long lunch break etc

I used to hate my job but left it and found current one which is super laid back and I really enjoy it.

Call in sick when you have an interview? He will only find out about it if the interview is successful and at that point it wont matter.

With the long notice period, can you save up annual leave and take two weeks of annual leave right at the end of your notice period and start the new job during that time?

I’ve had two jobs I’ve hated and it’s the most depressing thing having to go in every day.

However I have a job I really like now and they’re a distant memory.

Sick leave for interviews always.
