I strongly suspect that my previous lodger has been using my details to open credit accounts.
She didn't leave on good terms (stopped paying rent) and since then I have had bailiffs at the door looking for her. I've checked my Experian report today and seen that on the day she moved out a number of credit accounts have been opened with various online retailers.
I'm waiting to find out how much debt has been built but wanted to know if anyone has experience of this and what I can do to stop it happening again?
Seems mad that with just my name and address this can happen. I can see that she's got my DOB and length of address wrong but has still opened the accounts.
