To think you should care about your MBA?

I'm doing an MBA through work. We had a study weekend.

Day 1 was hardcore intense Finance stuff. 90% of our cohort had a drink together then went to bed. 10% went out last night and got shitfaced. They stayed up until 4am. One had to leave the lecture this morning to throw up.

AIBU to think that if your workplace are prepared to spend so much on a professional qualification, then you should take it (and your reputation) seriously...? Or am I being an old bugger?

Don't particularly want to work with people who, a. Don't want to do it and, b. Smell of puke

It's their look out isn't it? Just avoid them if there is group work and you're worried about them not pulling their weight. Tbh - that's life and not everyone handles things the same.

But we are part of a group and I might be expected to work with them (carry them) at a moments notice.

I just think they're taking the piss and not taking this seriously. It's a huge amount of money that their company's are investing and it takes a massive amount of time.
