When I saw the title I thought 'how can a child's robot toy dog be scary?' but then I remembered that video you posted and I opened the thread and yep, YANBU at all. It really freaks me out. I wouldn't want one anywhere near me.

Watch black mirror one with Maxine Peake and the 'dog' robot exactly like this. Scary stuff and just enough resemblance to reality to be scary.

This company also do a scary humanoid robot that is remarkable in its strength and ability to navigate rough terrain. Could one day rule the world!!

Jesus that's terrifying. This is like the robot guard dogs from the novel Snow Crash - published almost 30 years ago now but prescient in so many ways. Life imitates art!
