Quite good thank you. Got a lot of jobs ticked off this morning after dropping dd1 off. Mooched in the afternoon with dp. Dd2 has been lovely and giggly. After the kids go to bed we're having steak and wine.
How's your day been?

pollywolfff · 14/02/2019 17:09

@itchyseveredfoot im good actually. Been pretty busy all day. Just making some noodles and ready to put a film on and chill. Thanks for asking

Up and down.
The weather is glorious - spring is in the air!
Thanks for asking ☺

homemadegin · 14/02/2019 17:09

Feeling better now. Left DD for first time (4months) with mum so I could go into work for a few hours. Felt sick all day. She was fine, mum was fine, I was not!!

I did pick up a dine in from m and s for tea though so things are looking up....

ItchySeveredFoot · 14/02/2019 17:10

I think the sunny weather is cheering everyone up.

Crazyfrog007 · 14/02/2019 17:10

Thursdays always mental for me. I work early morning till late night so feeling a bit frazzled now!

Looking forward to the weekend though. Nearly there!

Horrible Sad My 7 year old went missing out of school this morning. He made his way all the way home to find me.

Daffodilshootsahoy · 14/02/2019 19:56

I feel good today, recent breakup so I'm glad its all out the way. I'm feeling good about it and making plans for the future.
Dropped dd off at nursery and drove to work. Had some lovely weather today too so that was nice. Radio played all the songs I like on the radio on the way here. I've been annoyingly happy Smile

AbbieLexie · 14/02/2019 20:01

Magical day with my wonderful granddaughter - after lunch we went to the wildlife pond, the swing park , coffee and cake and skipped all the way to Waitrose to buy daffodils for mum & dad. Perfect day,

Decormad38 · 14/02/2019 20:05

Busy. Knackered. Made mental note not to drink wine after work. Its given me a headache I do not need! Its 8pm and I could sleep forever!

itiswell2019 · 14/02/2019 20:06

Awful Sad that's pretty much everyday . Thank you for asking Smile

doubleshotespresso · 14/02/2019 20:08

Awful day really I am normally ever the optimist type of girl but really out of ideas today and brain is whirring with worry
Trying to just get through tomorrow before I collapse at the weekend.
I will persevere!

Crunchymum · 14/02/2019 20:11

@funinthesun19

That's shocking.

Did the school contact you? It did your child just turn up?

I hope you take the school to task over this.

Crunchymum · 14/02/2019 20:12

I'm poorly. Some vague virus crap..... couldn't even face dinner (and I am a lady with a very hearty appetite)

I'm in bed, going to get the older ones tucked up and then it's lights out for me.

RoseMartha · 14/02/2019 20:17

One thing after another mainly with my dd thinking she is 18 when actually she is 11! Then constant phone calls to me by my mother who has dementia. I was also at work while most of this was going on!
Havent stopped since we all got in, with kids stuff and dinner and household jobs.
A good point ..... the weather was nice.

pepperjack · 14/02/2019 20:18

Crap
My late husbands birthday. Not one of our friends has messaged me. His mum hasn't even text me
Alone - son away

Huge row with the builders, who I'm not sure I'll be letting back inside my house

Pk37 · 14/02/2019 20:20

Pretty stupid but my mum had a hissy fit in her own head and deleted me from facebook.
I’m baffled but she can get bent

funinthesun19 · 14/02/2019 20:22

Crunchymum

The school contacted me at about 9:10 this morning to say they couldn’t locate my ds. I had taken his bookbag to the office as I forgot to give it to him this morning when he went in. His teacher sent him out to get his bag off me but obviously I had gone, and he went to look for me.

They had search parties out looking for him and the Police eventually found him outside out front door. He even tried to get on the bus but because he had no money the driver didn’t let him on. So he crossed 3 main roads to get home!

I was in bits as you can imagine. Why the fuck his teacher thought it was a good idea to send a small child out of school on his own is beyond me! A teacher should have escorted him out.

toomuchtoolittle · 14/02/2019 20:24

Had a good day. Been child free so got the housework done then went to Argos to pick up my new iron 😁 got nothing to iron though so can't try it out 😩

MaMisled · 14/02/2019 20:25

I've been very productive! 2 hour dog walk with a good friend, cleaned the house, made a pretty spectacular vegetable curry and a cake, menu planned and squeezed in two hours for my hobby! Now awaiting 2 x DD to arrive from uni for the weekend and DH is on his way home after a week working away. Feeling content.

Burnshersmurfs · 14/02/2019 20:32

Horrible. I’ve got flu. My mum phoned up to shout at me for something I apparently did over a year ago, my boss keeps emailing me with something really stressful even though she knows it’s my day off and I’m ill. Flu makes me emotional and irrational, and I’m just really sad now and feel like I’m rubbish at my job and my own mother doesn’t like me. Massive pity party at my house. You’re all invited.

spanieleyes · 14/02/2019 20:34

Thrown chair, upturned table, smashed monitor, racist language and a punch up-all while the local authority advisor told me how well behaved the children were!
Typical primary school day!

Valdy · 14/02/2019 20:39

Not too bad day. DS and I shared a valentines breakfast, went for a lovely walk and met OH at work and had a lovely lunch out together. Now he's back at work, DS is in bed and I'm an emotional wreck crying, eating chocolate, feeling sorry for myself (I'm 30 weeks pregnant).

Whiskeyqueen2457 · 14/02/2019 20:46

Terrible. I'm just not strong enough to cope with the amount of shit I'm expected to deal with.
