To ask if you get heart palpitations around ovulation

I am perimenopausal at age 45 and my list of weird symptoms grows and grows.
The latest is heart palpitations and feeling dizzy and anxious around ovulation. Does anyone else get this?

I am on day 17 of my cycle & had a panic attack with the symptoms earlier- felt really weird.

Not necessarily around ovulation but I've definitely had a few cycles in a row when I've had palpitations at a similar time each month. Think more like day 21. It coincided with stopping breast feeding (I had dc3 way into my 40s...) So think was hormonal. I've Not had it so recently though but remember how horrible it was.

It’s really horrible- I felt like I was going to either pass out or really have a massive panic attack

I've had the same and thought I was going mad. I started taking daily supplements to see if it helps. Good to know it's not just me but sorry you're going through it too. Exercise does also seem to help a bit.

I'm almost 44 and pretty certain I'm peri menopausal. Have a range of symptoms and palpitations is one of them. Especially around ovulation!

This is very, very common and nothing to worry about. It's anxiety caused by hormonal fluctuations. It's such a horrible feeling, but if you keep moving and stay calm it will pass.

My other symptoms are overwhelming fatigue, only feel ok a few days a month. Shorter cycles, heavier bleeding, hot flushes, a few night sweats each month, anxiety, sleep disturbances near my period, migraines and weight gain. Fucking joyful

I get all but one of these. So I've got weight gain to look forward to. Fucking great.

Yes but I’m not peri menopausal. Starts around ovulation and happens every single night until my period starts. I do have low oestrogen but everything else is okay.

Get your thyroid, b12 and vit D tested too

Does anyone else of a similar age notice more aches and pains?

I have the same symptoms and this is my first day dealing with it. It scares me because I’m only 33.
