to put the girls to bed now???

They are 7 and 5, but played up so much last night, and didn;t go to sleep till 10:30pm!! but DD1 was nearly falling asleep eating her dinner, and dd2 is laying on the sofa, looking all eyes!! If they went to bed now, will they be up at 3am or something silly like that???

Yes they will be up at 3am. You know that!

NO! Hold them out for another hour at least!

Pop them in the bath to wake them up a bit!

I've done that with mine when they have been really grumpy and irritating, usually they fall asleep within minutes despite protesing they they aren't tired and wake up about 7 which is fine.

lol, they normally get up at 6am, which is early enough, don;t fancy a 3am start!!

I would put them to bed 'cos mine can get over tired and be horrific!

am holding out for 6pm, they are already for bed, they got into their pj's after dinner.

my ds (3) wants to go to bed now and i'm not letting him... he already wakes between 6 and 7, i dont want it any earlier! or worse in the middle of the night!
