Has anyone ever dealt with a breakup when a small child has been involved? (Mine is just under 4 months)

Did you move away?

How did contact work? (My DS is ebf. Not sure how we would work this).

Where did you put the guilt?

Does it get easier?

I'm a complete mess... I haven't even left him yet...

I've read your other threads and you're making a good decision. Flowers

@Shoxfordian thank you. I'm really scared about all of it to be honest.

It'll be ok, once you've split up you'll be much happier

Have you got a plan of where to go? Be safe

CarlosCarlos · 12/02/2019 09:13

I've been up all night crying at the thought of doing it today. I'm scared I won't do it. I've made a point of confessing how awful it all is to a close friend and my parents because I know they are now unhappy with how I'm being treated (previously unaware). This will help pressure me to actually do it.

Oh god. I feel awful.

Good luck. Stay strong. Flowers

Strength to you. It's hard, but staying is harder.
I left my ex 3 years ago. I'm stronger than ever, and am very content.
It's natural to be wary, second guess eyc. But, you need to trust your gut, and above all, yourself.

Take comfort in the love you have for your child, that will sustain you in the darker times xx

Thank you.

This is the worst feeling ever. I'm so nervous and guilt ridden.
