Why don’t we have higher standards that we can expect of our elected representatives?
I appreciate the argument that everyone is allowed a private life.
But if you are asking your constituents to trust you to make decisions that affect the whole of our society then they should be law abiding themselves and not be using drugs, buying sex or lying about their behaviour.
Step down if you cant behave properly.
Does it really bother us so little that we just shrug and let them carry on?
