LH: to be watching Scrooge

Posting here for traffic.

Fairly new here but this is my first thread. I am sitting with my foot up having ruptured a tendon in my right leg (did my Torvil and Dean impression in last week's snow and ice) but enjoying my favourite Scrooge with Albert Finney. I have washing, housework and paperwork to do plus should have been at work today but not feeling guilty at all. I was sad to hear Albert Finney died this week. I loved him in Erin Brokovich and felt spurred on watching him just before I went to court to win a similar David and Goliath unjust case. I also didn't get to see Scrooge at Christmas and for me Christmas isn't Christmas without A Christmas Carol. Smile

What are your feel good films / favourite actors when life's kicked you?

YABVVU because everyone knows that the best Scrooge is Alistair Sim.

I did watch the one with Albert Finney at Christmas and thought that his twisted facial expressions and muttering were ridiculous.

Ooh I forgot Alistair Sim! But I do love Finney. It's February and I'm watching Scrooge. Bonkers Smile

Thank you Lilydily. I haven't seen that one but I like your thinking - I love The Muppets Christmas Carol Grin.
