I have name changed for this so I will keep details vague too.

Basically someone from work who has been getting away with not doing their job has finally got caught today. This was their own doing after I had politely requested, by email, for them to send their work, so that I could do my bit. They refused with a long winded explanation, and copied my line manager in.

Not sure whether they intended my line manager to disapprove of my request but my lm wasn't happy with their response.

Sorry, I can't be more specific than this but I feel the need to share that feeling of being vindicated.

Have you ever had a feeling of victory when a work bully has been caught or similar? That is what it felt like.

Thanks for reading.

I once worked in a kitchen and it was joint to pub but both had separate owners (weird set up) but anyway, one day the barmaid began having an affair with the newly divorced owner of the pub side. Pushed the manger out of the door claiming she could do a better job (more like she puts out) within two months the pub closed down. Luckily I changed jobs not long after she became manager... did chuckle to myself though!
