In wanting to buy a Bissell crosswave wet and dry hoover?

I've totally fixated on getting one after I've seen a couple of people on the TOMM Facebook group rave about them.

I'd get the pet pro as I have a very long haired, very sheddy dog and two massive long haired cats.

And a messy ds and carpenter dh and wood stove which kicks up lots of dust and related mess.

Anybody used one? They're expensive so it's not something I'm jumping at!

If it's a Bissell it isn't a Hoover.
Sorry, I know that isn't helpful.

I'm looking at it OP - I love a hoover thread (even if it isn't really a hoover thread).

Mumoftwinsandanother · 08/02/2019 21:45

Looks gorgeous - I don't think its that expensive. Bought a Vax hoover recently and it was £150 and I really bought it because it was the cheapest good hoover I could see. When you think about dyson prices (not worth it I have one and its for ever stopping and needing cleaning) I would go for it. (overuse of the word hoover I know when not appropriate as its a vaccum.)

Ffs! It's a half hoover! Grin

The blank stares I get (live in the States) when I say I've got to hoover.

Got one recently, loved my floors and carpets after. But I found it very heavy to use so I don't think I'll be getting it out as regularly as I'd hoped for. But maybe I'm just a weakling!

wireswireswires · 08/02/2019 22:36

@CleverWittyUsername oooo! Do you have the pet one?

@wireswireswires I think it's just called the 3 in 1, great for our cats though

FlashingLights101 · 09/02/2019 08:09

I was looking at carpet cleaners the other day and found this and thought it looked interesting. I was put off by the reviews though which said it was hard to get into the corners of rooms, so people often had to vacuum around the outside first (as that's where most of the dust ends up) and also use a wipe around the outside after washing. So for me I think it would be a bit too much faff (assuming these reviews are correct!)

sorry for resurrecting an old thread but has anyone got one of these as it sounds like the solution I am looking for...?

853ax · 03/12/2020 15:15

I've just got one! Per pro first use seems good let's hope so

Mopcrazy · 22/06/2021 20:34

How are you finding the crosswave? Do you use the Bissell detergent or something else? I've heard its really hard to find in shops...

853ax · 28/06/2021 23:18
