To want DP to cook a bloody meal

I cook every single meal in our house as my DP isn’t a great cook. I have just cooked tea and made pancakes for the kids and I have asked DP to cook tea as I am tired and quite frankly sick of cooking all the fucking time.
DP is making a fuss & kicking off about it. Aibu to expect him to cook at least one meal a year 🙄

What fuss can he make about making food it’s not that hard

Its learned helplessness no one is incapable of cooking simple 3 to 4 ingredient meals no one

DD at 9 can (apart from the boiling water and draining element of pasta which lets face it isnt hard) can make pasta salad, macaroni cheese, beans on toast, homemade pizza (using bought pizza) and scrambled egg

He doesnt want to its not that he cant

I do agree dp should step up and help. But can I ask why did you make tea for the kids and not make enough for you and DP? Cooking twice is crazy.

Kids had friends round and I don’t want to eat fishfingers, chips and peas for tea today hence cooking twice
