To think that you can't have a nice car in a rough area?

Not saying that people shouldn't but why have an expensive car that can be damaged by the local yobs, jealous people?
And even worse if it's on lease. What if it get badly vandalised?
My car is a 14 year old Mazda and yesterday I got it looking lovely with a wax and polish and put a new car ariel on it.
Today, someone has scratched it and pinched my ariel!
Maybe I should have left it looking like sh!t

Just makes me nervous about ever getting something nicer because of other people being nasty about what you have.
Really don't understand what is so good about having a 60K car.
Where on earth could you leave it safely?

Aw that’s a shame ten some people are awful. Any chance of hiring a garage? Or renting a private drive if you don’t have one?

Not very practical if you live in a block of flats or in rows of terraced housing....

Unfortunately, the world is full of scumbags.

You'd not be unreasonable to think you should be ok to leave a nice car parked on the street or in a car park. But in some places, you just can't, and other than living out whatever Death Wish fantasies you may harbour, there's very little that can be done about it.

Even if you avoid the nasty/jealous people who deliberately damage things, you still have to contend with those who just don't care or are massively dozy and bash their doors into whoever is next to them etc.

It's pretty rubbish really.

Some people are just dicks who begrudge others anything. My parents live in a nice enough area but someone spat on my ex's nice car one true love when it was parked outside.
